Autumn Unwind: Hike - Yin Yoga & Sound

The Hike

The hike starts at the beautiful Spitzingsee, surrounded by hills that may already be sugar coated with the first snow of the season. Walking through dense forests and breathing in the crisp mountain air, we slow down and enjoy the quieter rhythm of late autumn. We continue to the Albert Link Hut for a well deserved break and one of the best Kaiserschmarrn in the area. Afterwards, an easy trail takes us to Haus Spitzingsee, where warming tea awaits before we settle into a soothing Yin Yoga class. Surrounded by the calming sounds and vibrations of handmade, original Tibetan Singing Bowls, we stretch, release and let the day come to a peaceful close.

The Yoga - Yin & Sound

Our hike ends at the DAV Haus Spitzingsee, which has a lovely, spacious room equipped with yoga mats where we can unwind with a gentle yoga session. I guide you through a relaxing Yin Yoga practice, where postures are held for longer to gently release tired muscles and allow you to turn inward. Throughout the practice, the soothing tones and gentle vibrations of seven different Tibetan singing bowls accompany the poses, helping the body soften and the mind become still. The class finishes with a long, deeply relaxing Savasana, allowing you to simply lie back and be immersed in the sounds of the bowls. The practice is suitable for everyone, and no prior yoga experience is required.
