What to expect

This summer, I scouted this unique Transalp route together with my mum and sister, searching for a journey that combines spectacular trails, wild landscapes and a lesser frequented route. Starting at Lake Tegernsee in Germany, we ride high above the turquoise waters of Lake Achensee, cross the impressive Zillertal Alps and continue over the Pfitscher Joch toward the glacier beneath the Hochfeiler. From there, a long descent takes us into Italy. Expect challenging climbs, rewarding trails, breathtaking high-alpine scenery and a very special way to cross the Alps.
