Teenie & Tiny - Denkalm

What to expect

The circular hike to Denkalm above Lenggries is a relaxed tour for anyone looking for an easy mountain walk with a cozy mountain hut and beautiful views of the Karwendel mountains. From Lenggries, the trail leads steadily uphill through forest paths and gravel roads towards the Keilkopf ridge. Denkalm, located at around 980 meters, invites hikers to take a break on its sunny terrace – especially popular are the traditional Kaiserschmarrn and Bavarian snacks. The return trail leads comfortably back to Lenggries.

Teenie & Tiny

Our Teenie & Tiny Tour welcomes both teenagers (“Teenie”) and children (“Tiny”). Ideally, the youngsters are between 10 and 16 years old, enjoy being active outdoors - yet no restriction to this age bracket. They may already have some hiking experience, are able to manage similar physical demands as their accompanying adult, and have the required equipment.

Important notice:
Parents or legal guardians remain fully responsible for supervising minors throughout the entire trip. It is the responsibility of parents or accompanying adults to realistically assess their children’s physical and mental ability to participate in the tour.

Just a note: This is my first Teenie & Tiny Hike, and  I am testing out the format and age group. If it's a hit and proves successful, I'll see to add more hikes like this in the future.

Travel

Start: 08:00 am at Munich main station

End: approx. 5 pm at Munich main station

What to bring

• Hiking shoes, rucksack, waterproof rain jacket (& rain trousers), hiking poles (optional)
• Comfortable clothing suitable for both hiking and yoga
• Sun protection: cream, hat, sunglasses
• Water (2-3 liter) & snacks

Cancellation

Day hikes are non-refundable but can be rescheduled to another date. A tour will only be cancelled due to weather in the case of an official weather warning. In case of unfavorable weather, the route may be adjusted to the conditions. Alternatively, you may move your booking to another date. If the tour is cancelled, you can cancel your booking free of charge. Any costs incurred in connection with participation in the hike (e.g. travel or accommodation) are not reimbursable.
